COLLECTIF MONGRENIER
WHO WE ARE
Collectif Mongrenier is an intergenerational, multinational co-living project whose values are deeply rooted in our connection to nature. We are a working farm with sheep, ducks, fruit and nut trees and a permaculture garden which provides most of our fruit and vegetables. Here you can find out a little more about who we are.

VISION
With a shared vision of ecological harmony and sustainable living, Collectif Mongrenier is an eco-project dedicated to permaculture, organic farming, and the restoration of local biodiversity. By integrating regenerative agricultural practices with nature-based solutions, the project is working on building a self-sustaining ecosystem that nourishes both people and the planet. Through soil regeneration, native habitat revival, and chemical-free cultivation, the initiative not only produces healthy food but also serves as a living example of how human activity can enhance, rather than deplete, the natural world. We do not subscribe to any kind of dogma but embody the "live and let live" approach to life. We are also a collective of artists of different kinds, offering a retreat for creative minds!
HISTORY
In 2015, driven by a desire to counter isolation and build intergenerational connection, our founders envisioned a vibrant community rooted in cooperation and shared purpose. What began as local gatherings in Switzerland grew into a committed group that eventually found its home in southern France. After an inspiring journey of growth, search, and shared vision, we established ourselves at the Mongrenier estate in December 2017—laying the foundation for a new way of living together. Since then, people from all over the world have enriched our small community. Our doors are always open to people who would like to know more about our way of life, so do not hesitate to get in touch!
